Tonight the New York Philharmonic will give the World Premiere of Marc Neikrug's Concerto for Orchestra, conducted by Music Director Alan Gilbert. Fresh off of hearing it played for the first time at a rehearsal, composer Neikrug discusses the piece and the experience of collaborating with the New York Philharmonic on a world premiere.
