It's the end of the world as we know it.... Le Grand Macabre is coming May 27-29, when Alan Gilbert and the New York Philharmonic give the New York premiere of Ligeti's opera in a new, staged production directed and designed by Douglas Fitch.
Take a glimpse inside the Director's studio in Brooklyn where more than 100 objects are being created for "live animation" during the performances on the stage of Avery Fisher Hall.
