On tonight's rebroadcast episode of ABC's SUBURGATORY entitled, 'The Nutcracker', it's Christmas time in Chatswin and everyone is feeling extraordinarily merry except for Tessa and George. Tessa is still mad that George has a girlfriend in NY, so George is forced to dump his girlfriend over a long and emotional video chat to make Tessa happy. He tells his girlfriend, Zoe, that he can't sneak off to NY to date a city girl if the whole thing upsets Tessa. It makes him feel like a bad father. Aww.

When Tessa eavesdrops on this new development, it starts to eat away at her. She feels guilty that she's holding her dad back from true happiness. So, Tessa decides to buy him the best Christmas present of all time to make up for it. There's just one problem: she doesn't know what it is yet.

While Tessa is furiously thinking up gifts, George is just trying to make it through the day. He even takes a wreath making class to take his mind off Zoe. Luckily for George, it just so happens that the girl who teaches the class is cute, nice and single. He takes the plunge and invites her over to a Christmas party he's throwing at the house. Naturally Tessa is not aware that George has a new crush so, thinking she's the best daughter in the world, she invites Zoe to the Christmas party. She tells Zoe that her dad really misses her so Zoe agrees to come.

SUBURGATORY tells the story of single father George who only wants the best for his 16-year-old daughter, Tessa. So when he finds a box of condoms on her nightstand, he moves them both out of their apartment in New York City to a house in the suburbs. But all Tessa sees is the horror of over-manicured lawns and plastic Franken-moms. Being in the ‘burbs can be hell, but it also may just bring Tessa and George closer than they've ever been.

The show stars Jeremy Sisto ("Law & Order") as George Altman, Jane Levy ("Shameless") as Tessa Altman, Carly Chaikin ("The Last Song") as Dalia Royce, Rex Lee ("Entourage") as Mr. Wolfe, Allie Grant ("Weeds") as Lisa Shay, Alan Tudyk ("V") as Noah Lerner, Cheryl Hines ("Curb Your Enthusiasm") as Dallas Royce and Ana Gasteyer ("Saturday Night Live") as Sheila Shay. Jay Mohr appears in the recurring role as Steven Royce, Dallas' husband.
