Over 80 writers, directors, actors and musicians will present 10 unique musical shorts at SOUND BITES, a one-night-only off-Broadway event. Behind the Bites introduces the creators of the musicals featured at SOUND BITES with sneak peeks from the rehearsal process.

Bob Christianson and Bill Nabel take us inside a rehearsal for the 10-minute excerpt TAKE ME AMERICA at Great Immediately NYC studio. With an epic rock-tinged score, TAKE ME AMERICA follows seven refugees applying for asylum in the United States and the fresh faced agent who decides who stays. It's basically A Chorus Line for refugees.

TAKE ME AMERICA has book and lyrics by Bill Nabel, music and arrangements by Bob Christianson, and features Tommy Craig, Gail Dennison, Mitch Giannunzio, Manfred Lion, Dave Resultan, Diana Huey, Adrian Rifat, America Barcenas, Jonathan Christopher, and Iris Elton.
