Rosenberg Replaces Davison in L.A. 'Little Sheba'

By: May. 23, 2007

Variety reports that SAG President Alan Rosenberg (Broadway's Lost in Yonkers, TV's "CSI," film Last Temptation of Christ) will be starring opposite Tony-nominee S. Epatha Merkerson (TV's "Law & Order," Broadway's The Piano Lesson) in Center Theater Group's production of William Inge's Come Back, Little Sheba. Rosenberg will be replacing Bruce Davison, who had a scheduling conflict.

The 1950 play, famously made into an Oscar-winning film in 1952 which starred Burt Lancaster and Shirley Booth, follows a couple coming to terms with their marriage when a young women moves in with them. Michael Pressman directs the show, which runs June 24-July 15 at the Kirk Douglas Theater in Culver City, where it will be the final production in the theater's 2006-07 season.
