On January 19th, Laura Linney/> and Philip Seymour Hoffman/> attended the premiere of their film The Savages at the Sundance Film Festival, held in Park City, UT.

The Savages stars Oscar-nominee Linney (Film: You Can Count on Me, The Squid and the Whale; Theatre: Sight Unseen, The Crucible) and Oscar-winner Hoffman (Film: Capote, Magnolia; Theatre: Long Day's Journey Into Night, True West), and features such theatre veterans Philip Bosco/>, Debra Monk/> and Peter Friedman/>.

The film, about a brother and sister caring for their sick father, is written and directed by Tamara Jenkins.  The Sundance Film Festival runs from January 18th through 28th.
