Photo Coverage: International Rescue Committee Hosts Annual Freedom Award Benefit

The International Rescue Committee just hosted its annual Freedom Award Dinner to support the organization's lifesaving humanitarian aid work around the world. This year's event honored Cliff and Laurel Asness and Ken and Vickie French with the IRC's Freedom Award. BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the special event below!

The International Rescue Committee first bestowed its Freedom Award for extraordinary contributions to the cause of refugees and human freedom to Willy Brandt in 1957. Additional honorees include Winston Churchill, Madeleine Albright, John McCain, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Tom Brokaw and George Soros.

The Co-Chairs for this year's Freedom Award Dinner were Maurice R. Greenberg, Starr International Foundation/The Starr Foundation, Ruth & David Levine, Gillian M. Shepherd, Eduardo G. Mestre, Kathleen and Omar Saeed and Catherine and Tracy Wolstencroft. Vice Chairs include The Partners of AQR Capital, Katherine Farley, Jerry I. Speyer, Marie and Joseph Field, Evan G. Greenberg, ACE Group, Judy and Josh Weston, Maureen White, and Steven Rattner.
