A Promise of Hope, A Night Of Songs & Friendship took place on Monday, November 22, 2004 at Sam's Restaurant. The benefit raised money for Mark Morse, uncle of Broadway performer Lori Ann Strunk.

According to the web site for the concert:

"Mark Morse, who is just 47 years old, has found out that he has cancer. He and his family are on welfare, as he lost his job. He had no medical insurance and wasn't diagnosed with the disease until it had already spread throughout his body.

His family has no money. He drives 5 hours each way to go to Chemo. They can't afford rent or food. Beyond all that, he is a family member of one of our performers. So we've banded together to try to raise some money and help this amazing family out."
