Over 100 Broadway Kids to Light Up Symphony Space in ALMOST THERE, 5/4

Thommie Retter, (Billy Elliot) and Retter Entertainment provide unique opportunities for aspiring young performers through This Way To Broadway, a series of workshops culminating in showcase opportunities, including singing, acting, and dancing. The coming event, Almost There, will take place at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Symphony Space located at 2537 Broadway.

The show will bring together performers with a wealth of Broadway experience, and many others who aspire to reach the same heights.

With help from director Thommie Retter, writer and director Anthony Giunta (Contest The Movie, Skin In The Game), Joseph Joubert (Motown), musical director Rick Hip-Flores, L.A.-based music producer Brandon Jarrett and Broadway veteran vocal coaches Amelia DeMayo, Joe Baker and Amy Hanratty, fun and excitement will be had on and off the stage!

Featured performers include: Michael Nigro from NBC's The Sound of Music Live and Payton Ackerman from Lifetime's Dance Moms will host This Way To Broadway May 4th at Symphony Space. With performances by, Alex Dreier (Finding Neverland), Oscar Williams (Fun Home), Ashley Brooke Eisdorfer (Dr, Zhivago), Noah Baird (Matilda) Sam Faulkner (Billy Elliot), Brionna Trilling (Billy Elliot), Thommie Retter (Billy Elliot), Mallory Hytes Hagan (Miss America 2013) and Brandon Jarrett (Moho Productions). Additional performances by Broadway Youth Ensemble, Best Day Ever, Kids Of The Arts and Moba Dance Academy.
