Moscow Cats Theatre, the international hit from Russia, will play a 2006-2007 national tour.  The show will play engagements in Chicago, Atlanta, LA, San Diego, Columbus and Detroit.

Moscow Cats Theatre, which is described as featuring "non-stop action by a group of talented felines performing original and astounding acrobatic feats, integrated into a non-verbal, colorful and fun-filled family show," made its United States debut almost a year ago in New York City.  The production has been featured on "Good Morning America," "Good Day," "CBS Early Show," "Inside Edition," "The Montel Williams Show," and "Live with Regis and Kelly."

Yuri Kuklachev has performed in over 80 countries and received prestigious international awards and accolades, including The People's Artist in Russia, Honorary Member of the American Clown Association, the Silver Clown Award in Monte Carlo, the Golden Clown Award in Canada, the Golden Oscar in Japan, a San Marino postage stamp, and in France a chapter in their national grammar book titled Lessons of Kindness.

"The cats are the stars of the show -- they walk tightropes, balance balls, do paw-stands, jump from great heights, and unerringly negotiate complex mazes," says Kuklachev.  "We glorify them and that's why we provide the cats with a traveling entourage including a vet, kitty caretaker and personal stylist to tend to the needs of our feline superstars."  The cast includes 30 cats, 2 dogs, and 6 clowns, performed by Yuri Kuklachev, Yelena Kuklacheva, Inga Gerasimova, Alexander Gerasimov, Lioudmila Smirnova, and Vasili Zhuravlev.

Moscow Cats Theatre will play the North Shore Center in Skokie, IL from December 10th through December 30th, the Performing Arts Center at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, GA on October 28th and 29th, the International Culture Center -- L.A. Scottish Rite Auditorium from November 11th through December 3rd, the Spreckels Theater in San Diego on November 4th and 5th, the Capital Theatre at Riffe Center in Columbus, OH on December 16th and 17th, and the Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts on December 9th, 22nd and 23rd.
