The Riverside Theatre will host the 3rd annual Women's History Month celebration coined, "An Evening with Women of Excellence in the Arts," on Monday, March 26th at 6pm. Five women will share an intimate discussion about their personal journeys in the industry. The esteemed panel will be moderated by Image Activist and Writer Michaela Angela Davis and will include, Lillias White, Melba Moore, Beverly Bond, Malikha Mallette, and Winsome Sinclair. The theatre is located in the historic Riverside Church at 91 Claremont Ave. (bet. 120th & 122nd St.), Morningside Heights. The event will be followed by a V.I.P reception sponsored by Given Liqueur. Sponsors include City College, Ashley Battle of the WNBA, Carol's Daughter, Iman Cosmetics , Hue-Man Bookstore and Completely Bare.

"Each of these women have made a great impact in their respective careers in the arts," says Randreta Ward- Evans, President of The Riverside Theatre. "In celebrating Women's History Month, this was the ideal time to feature these exceptional women to discuss their incredible journeys. I know audiences will enjoy hearing about their experiences first hand."

The panel was selected using the guiding principle of The Riverside Theatre, "From Legacy to Promise." Lillias White (Tony award winning Broadway Actress) and Melba Moore (Actress/Singer) have built legacies that continue to flourish while Beverly Bond (CEO, Black Girls Rock!, Inc.), Malikha Mallette (Actress/radio personality) and Winsome Sinclair (Casting Director) are rising women of promise, making waves in their careers. This discussion will offer a closer look into the
world of the arts from the unique perspective of women that are achieving excellence in the arts while inspiring women around the globe.
