Luker, Mitchell, Etc. to Perform at 3/26 Quinn Memorial

Rebecca Luker, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Ann Harada and Dana Ivey will perform at an upcoming memorial to honor late actor and Actors' Equity President Patrick Quinn.  It will take place at the St. James Theatre on March 26th at 2 PM.

Doors will open to the public at 1:15 PM.  The St. James Theatre is located at 246 W. 46th St.

Quinn was a working actor for all of his adult life and a strong champion for the rights of his fellow actors. He had served as a Councillor of Equity since 1977 and held many leadership positions within the Union. He was elected President in 2000. A native Philadelphian and graduate of Temple University, Quinn began his Equity career in 1970. He made his Broadway debut in the revival of Fiddler on the Roof with Zero Mostel. His other credits include ten Broadway shows, including A Class Act, Beauty and the Beast, Lend Me a Tenor and the revival of The Sound of MusicHis most recent appearance had been in the Cape Playhouse production of Sylvia and earlier last season he appeared in Gunmetal Blues at the George Street Playhouse.  Quinn, who co-founded Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, had been the second Vice President of BC/EFA since 1993.
