Listen: Check Out an Excerpt of the ANGELS IN AMERICA Audiobook with Garfield, Lane, Broadway Revival Cast

If you missed the Tony Award-winning revival of Angels in America on Broadway last year, you're in luck: the acclaimed production is now available as an audiobook, performed by the full National Theatre Broadway cast, joined by Bobby Cannavale ("Millennium Approaches") and Edie Falco ("Perestroika") providing scene-setting narration and stage directions.

Angels in America is now available wherever audiobooks are sold.

Listeners will hear:
Andrew Garfield as Prior Walter
Nathan Lane as Roy M. Cohn
Susan Brown as Hannah Pitt
Denise Gough as Harper Pitt
Beth Malone as The Angel
James McArdle as Louis Ironson
Lee Pace as Joseph Pitt
Nathan Stewart-Jarrett as Belize
with narration by Bobby Cannavale ("Millennium Approaches") and Edie Falco ("Perestroika").

The audiobook also features composer Adrian Sutton's dramatic original score.

Playwright Tony Kushner says, "I've always been a lucky playwright (kinehora kinehora pooh pooh pooh), never more so than when Marianne Elliott and her cast of monumentally brilliant and brave actors brought Angels In America to London's National Theatre and then to Broadway.

"Theater vanishes once the last performance ends, so I count it another stroke of great good fortune that Penguin Random House Audio has transformed this splendid stage production into an experience that's dramatic and also, in the audiobook's theater of human voices, novelistic in its intimacy. Listening to it has been for me a rediscovery of the plays."

"Bringing Angels in America to the audiobook format was an interesting challenge, said Dan Zitt, Senior Vice President of Content Production for Penguin Random House Audio. "Rather than documenting a live show, we recorded each actor individually after the play closed on Broadway and carefully edited all the elements and performances together, recreating the action and set design of the stage production with soundscapes and narrative to create a listening experience as immersive as sitting in the theater."
