Mamma Mia! will celebrate its 3rd anniversary at Las Vegas' Mandalay Resort and Casino by welcoming a number of new stars.

On Monday, January 30th, cast member Carol Linnea Johnson, whose credits include The Full Monty on Broadway and "Law and Order" and "All My Children" on television, will step into the role of Donna Sheridan. Johnson will be joined by Robin Baxter as Rosie, one of Donna's sidekicks and best friends. Baxter also comes to Las Vegas from Broadway where she has also appeared in Footloose and A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum. Completing the "Dynamo" trio and former "Rock chick Supremo" band is Vicki Van Tassel as Tanya; Van Tassel appeared in the Off-Broadway musical If It Was Easy.

Having starred in a Las Vegas revue at fifteen prior to Broadway roles, Rick Negron will begin performances as Sam Carmichael. Negron's credits include Broadway's Leader of the Pack and the national tour of West Side Story. Joining him will be Robert DuSold, who will play the role of Harry Bright, following Broadway and national tours of The Producers and Phantom of the Opera. Jefferson Slinkard as Bill Austin rounds out the three men from Donna's past. Slinkard's New York credits include The Mystery of Attraction and The Firebugs.

Assuming the role of bride-to-be Sophie Sheridan, Kelly Anise Daniells hails from Sacramento, where her regional credits include Annie Get Your Gun and Pirates of Penzance. Patrick Sarb, who plays Sophie love interest Sky, comes West directly from the Broadway production of Mamma Mia!

Mamma Mia! premiered at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on February 13, 2003. "The permanent production remains the longest running and most successful full scale Broadway musical ever to play the Las Vegas Strip. Mamma Mia! has broken all box office records at the Mandalay Bay Theatre and was named the Number #1 Show in Las Vegas by Mike Weatherford of the Las Vegas Review Journal," according to press notes.

From West End smash to global phenomenon, the show has been seen by over twenty four million people across North America, Australia, Europe and Asia.

"Inspired by the story-telling magic of ABBA's timeless songs, writer Catherine Johnson's sunny, funny tale of family and friendship unfolds on a tiny Greek island. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings 3 men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago." Songs including "Dancing Queen"; "The Winner Takes It All"; "Money, Money, Money" and "Take A Chance on Me" are all featured in the musical.
