This innocent and beautiful award-winning musical traces the emergence of an unexpected romance and a young lady's journey into womanhood. In 1900s New England, Jerusha Abbott is the "Oldest Orphan in the Jon Grier Home," until an anonymous benefactor decides to send her to college. Through witty and wistful letters, Jerusha faithfully corresponds with the mysterious stranger she affectionately nicknames Daddy Long Legs. This elegant musical love story is a testament to the power of the written word and its ability to touch our hearts.

The original stage presentation of Daddy Long Legs premiered at the Rubicon Theatre Company in Ventura, California in the fall of 2009.

The cast of Daddy Long Legs at The Rep is Ephie Aardema as Jerusha and Kevin Earley as Jervis. The Rep's production of Daddy Long Legs is directed by John Caird.

Burck, associate director; David Farley, scenic and costume designer; Paul Toben, lighting designer; Cory Pattak, lighting designer; Tara Rubin Casting, casting; Laura Bergquist, additional arrangements; Glenn Dunn, stage manager; Tony Dearing, assistant stage manager.
