TheatreRats will bring Thomas Middleton and William Rowley's 1622 tragicomedy The Changeling to The Medicine Show Theatre (549 W. 52nd St., 3rd floor, between 10th and 11th Avenues) from March 2nd through 11th.

"After the Valentine's Day roses wilt and the chocolates are all gone away, seek new satisfaction with love, lust, and murder as rising avant-garde director Lauren Reinhard helms this thrilling classic with vibrant, contemporary sensibilities," state press notes.

"Vince Philip*, Sarah Tillson, Anna Chlumsky (the My Girl films), Jess C. White and Jamie Askew will be among the cast of the show. "Beatrice (Tillson) is promised to marry a man she doesn't love. At the same time, she is in love with Alsemero (White), and pursued by the repellent Deflores (Philip). When Beatrice enlists Deflores and her maid, Diaphanta (Askew), to help her marry Alsemero, the play pushes the limits of lust, love and sanity for all involved. At the same time, another trio of men battle for the heart of Isabella (Chlumsky) in an actual asylum. The two seemingly separate plots converge on the question of where to draw the line: where do the decisions we make for love turn to lunacy...and with what terrible consequences?"

The production will run March 2nd through 4th and 8th through 11th at 8pm, and March 5th at 2pm. Tickets are $15 and can be reserved in advance or purchased at the door.
