Actress/singer Julia Murney will perform a one-night-only concert at Birdland on Monday, February 7th at 7pm. This evening is part of The Winter Season, presented by Jim Caruso in association with TheaterMania.com, which features top Broadway and cabaret performers at the world-class music room. There is a $25 cover and $10 food/drink minimum.

Murney is currently in Ken Weitzman's Arrangements at theAtlantic Theatre Company, and will star in the upcoming Lennon on Broadway. She recently performed the role of Fastrada in an all-star benefit production of Pippin, and portrayed Florence in the Actor's Fund concert of Chess opposite Josh Groban. She received a Drama Desk nomination for her work in Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party, and her other theatrical credits include First Lady Suites, Crimes of the Heart, Time and Again, A Class Act, Cloud 9 and Mata Hari.

Murney says the musical material included in her concert will be "a combination platter…a pupu platter, if you will." The evening will include songs from her theatrical career, including a tune from Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party, some beloved pop and country songs (Bobbie Gentry's "Fancy") and brand new songs by Lippa and her Musical Director, Tom Kitt (MD on Broadway's Laugh Whore).
