Hermanos Yaipén Will Perform UNA HISTORIA BIEN CANTADA at Gran Teatro Nacional

Hermanos Yaipén will present Una Historia Bien Cantada on June 20, 2026, at the renowned Gran Teatro Nacional. Scheduled for two performances at 5:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., the concert will honor the history, achievements, and enduring influence of one of Peru’s most beloved musical groups. Founded by Walter and Javier Yaipén, Hermanos Yaipén has become synonymous with modern Peruvian cumbia, producing countless hits that have resonated with audiences across generations.
Una Historia Bien Cantada will take audiences on a musical journey through the orchestra’s most celebrated songs, blending nostalgia, energy, and emotion. The production highlights the group’s distinctive sound and pays tribute to a career that has helped shape the landscape of contemporary Latin music.
Tickets are available through Yape’s Entradas platform and Joinnus. The event is recommended for ages 5 and older, and all attendees aged one year and above must have a ticket for entry. Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The theater will open 90 minutes before each performance. Organizers note that the concert will begin promptly at the scheduled time, and late arrivals will be admitted only after the song in progress has concluded to minimize disruptions for audience members.
Accessible seating is available for wheelchair users, and a limited number of discounted tickets are offered for people with disabilities through the CONADIS program, in accordance with Peruvian law.
Visitors arriving by vehicle may take advantage of complimentary parking for cars and bicycles at the Ministry of Culture’s Gate 6 entrance, subject to availability.
