As fans of the Tony Award-winning musical Jersey Boys eagerly await tomorrow's opening of the big screen adaptation, USA TODAY shares an exclusive preview of one of the film's songs 'Cry for Me'. Get a first listen here!
The track features lead vocals from Erich Bergen, who portrays Bob Gaudio, the composer of such Four Season's classics as Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry, Walk Like a Man, Dawn (Go Away) and Rag Doll. Gaudio used the tune when he first auditioned to become a member of the group. Jersey Boys: Music From the Motion Picture and Broadway Musical will be available June 24th. The film adaptation of the Tony Award-winning musical Jersey Boys will hit theaters on June 20th. Directed byClint Eastwood, JERSEY BOYS, written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, features the music and lyrics of Bob Gaudio & Bob Crewe.
