Festival of Arts Returns to Laguna Beach with New Music Series and Events
The juried fine art show features over 120 Orange County artists at the Irvine Bowl grounds.
The Festival of Arts Fine Art Show will return to Laguna Beach from July 7 through September 3, 2026, featuring artwork from more than 120 Orange County artists alongside live entertainment, workshops, tours, and seasonal events.
The festival was recently named one of the Top 10 Art Festivals in the country by USA Today.
The juried exhibition includes painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, jewelry, and mixed media created by local artists. Festival visitors will have opportunities to meet exhibiting artists, attend demonstrations, and participate in hands-on workshops throughout the summer season.
New programming for 2026 includes three recurring music series: Flashback Fridays, Showstopper Saturdays, and Southern Songbook Sundays, all scheduled weekly at 5:30 p.m. The festival’s Tribute Music Series will also continue on Wednesdays.
Additional events include the debut of Cultural Arts Day on July 19 and the return of Battle of the Arts on August 23, which pairs live painting competitions with musical performances. Family Art Day and the Junior Art Awards ceremony will take place July 12. The Festival Runway Fashion Show, featuring wearable art and recycled fashion creations, returns August 9.
The festival will also present Art, Jazz, Wine and Chocolate on Thursday evenings, along with recurring Paint and Sip Classes and Prints and Pinots workshops for adults. Free guided art tours will be offered daily.
Special exhibits include the Junior Art Exhibition featuring nearly 400 works by Orange County students, the Emerging Artists Exhibit showcasing student artists from Laguna College of Art + Design, and the Art-to-Go Exhibit, which benefits The Artists Fund at the Festival of Arts.
“The Festival of Arts is more than a summer experience, it's a celebration of creativity, community, and the incredible talent of local artists,” said Festival of Arts Director of Marketing and PR Sharbie Higuchi in a statement.
