Fashion Photo of the Day 5/20/13 - Jessica Biel

Jessica Biel wore a a very high fashion, concept dress by Marchesa to the Inside Llewyn Davis premiere at the Cannes Festival over the weekend. My first thought of course was she looks beautiful because Jessica Biel is gorgeous and her fashion sense is in a league of its own. But I don't quite know what to make of this ensemble. There is so much I like and so much that leaves me a bit confused - but I think really good fashion will do that.

To me, this dress is Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig (of Marchesa)'s take on Swan Lake. The soft ballet pink, the swirling textile and of course the feathers. It's almost too literal. But Biel wears it so elegantly and it's such a soft look for her. And her waist looks insanely small, like corset small. Biel finished off her look with the iconic Bulgari serpent necklace. The necklace is stunning I'm just not sure if it goes with this ultra feminine dress or if it's just the thing to add some edge. As you can tell, I am just totally torn over this look but can confidently say it does spark a lot of conversation, none of which is bad. A little fashion debate, to me, is always a good thing.
