FMCT Announces Summer 2018 Education Camps Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre (FMCT) opens registration for Summer 2018 education camps on Monday, January 15. Featuring productions of Aladdin Kids and Xanadu Jr., this summer will offer new and improved opportunities at FMCT for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Elementary camps will begin Monday, June 4 with performances of Aladdin Kids planned for June 21-22 & 27-28. Based on the Disney animated classic, this musical adventure will take students and audiences on a magic carpet ride with Aladdin, Jasmine, the Genie, and other favorite characters.

Half-day camps are being offered for students in grades K-2 with morning (9am-noon) or afternoon camps (1-4pm) available. Half-day camps run Monday-Friday through June 22 with performances scheduled June 21 & 22. Tuition is $200. Students in grades 3-5 will participate as part of a full-day camp through June 29 running Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm. Performances for the Aladdin Kids full-day camp are scheduled June 27 & 28. Tuition is $300.

Middle school students can take a trip back to the 1980s for a month of pop music, glitter, and roller disco as FMCT brings Xanadu Jr. to life. Based on the cult film and Tony-nominated Broadway musical, Xanadu Jr. will be presented as part of a full-day camp (Monday-Friday, 9a-4p) catered to students in grades 6-8. Tuition is $325. The middle school camp runs July 9 through August 3 with performances of Xanadu Jr. scheduled August 1 & 2.

Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that has been producing live theatre in the area for over 70 years.
