Edinburgh Hit 'Fuerzabruta' Begins 18-Week Engagement 10/11
Fuerzabruta, the new show from the creators of the off-Broadway sensation De La Guarda, will begin its limited run next week at the Daryl Roth Theatre (20 Union Square East at 15th Street). Previews begin Thursday, October 11 and the show will officially open on Wednesday, October 24. The engagement is scheduled to run for 18 weeks only, through February 17, 2008. Fuerzabruta has most recently played acclaimed engagements at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and at London's Roundhouse Theatre.
"Breaking free from the confines of spoken language and theatrical convention, Fuerzabruta is an event where worlds collide and reality takes a back seat. Immersed in an environment where imagination soars, performers run through moving walls, race to connect from opposite sides of a whirling sail and frolic in a watery world suspended just above the audience," explain press notes.
Fuerzabruta will play at the Daryl Roth Theatre (20 Union Square East at 15th Street) on the following schedule: Tuesday through Thursday at 8PM, Friday at 8PM & 10:30PM, Saturday at 7PM & 10PM, and Sunday at 7PM. For preview performances through October 23, tickets are specially priced at $35.00. For all regular performances, tickets are $70.
