After a hit run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (where they earned a five-star review), the ensemble cast from Oscars College of Performing Arts in Huddersfield, U.K. will make their debut in the United States with the critically-acclaimed musical Egg And Chips For Winston.  The show will be presented at Theatre 315 (315 West 47th Street, between 8th & 9th Ave) from August 23rd through August 27th.

Set in wartime Britain, the musical portrays the true story of Eva Rowland, a retired Salvation Army Officer, who witnessed the highs and lows of World War II.  "It is not the account of a bystander, but of an active participant fiercely committed to serving God and Country on the Home Front," according to production notes.   "The intrinsic music of the production is sung by Emmy Wilde, who was featured on London Weekend Television's 'Sing With A Star' along with tenor Russell Watson."

The show's performance schedule is August 23rd at 8 PM, August 24th at 2 PM and 8 PM, August 25th at 8 PM, August 26th at 8 PM and August 27th at 2 PM and 8 PM.  Tickets are $20.00 and are available through www.SmartTix.com, or by calling 212.868.4444.
