WestBeth Entertainment and The Madison Square Garden Company announced that Eddie Izzard will return to the Beacon Theatre on Friday, July 22 and Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 8:00PM as part of his Force Majeure world tour. Tickets are on sale now.

Hailed by the New York Times as a "sheer comic genius" and "the most brilliant stand-up comedian of his generation," Izzard takes ideas and situations and extrapolates them into bizarre, tangential, absurd, and surreal comic narratives. His stand-up covers topics that skip from Darth Vader and Greek mythology to human sacrifice and chaos theory. Izzard has received praise from The LA Times who notes, "He walks onstage to the roaring tumult usually reserved for rock stars" and is the "funniest man in... pretty much all of the known universe."

Izzard sold out Madison Square Garden with his 2011 performance and became the first stand-up comedian to play a solo show twice at the Hollywood Bowl. He's performed Force Majeure in 83 cities to over 185,000 fans.

Tickets are on sale now and are available through Ticketmaster Charge By Phone (1-866-858-0008) and all Ticketmaster Outlets. Tickets are also available in person at the MSG, Radio City Music Hall and Beacon Theatre box offices.
