Dundalk Community Theatre Continues 2017 Season with I HATE HAMLET

By:

Dundalk Community Theatre continues it 2017 season with the comedy "I Hate Hamlet" from February 24th - March 5th. The season will then close with "Shrek: The Musical". DCT has something for everyone this year. Individual tickets are $23 for adults, $20 for senior adults and $15 for students/DCT Actors/Children 12 and under.

I Hate Hamlet, Andrew Rally seems to have it all: celebrity and acclaim from his starring role in a hit television series; a rich, beautiful girlfriend; a glamorous, devoted agent; the perfect New York apartment; and the chance to play Hamlet in Central Park. There are, however, a couple of glitches in paradise. Andrew's series has been canceled; his girlfriend is clinging to her virginity; and he has no desire to play Hamlet. Andrew's agent prompts him to hold a séance to summon the ghost of John Barrymore. From the moment Barrymore returns, dressed in high Shakespearean garb, Andrew's life is no longer his own. The action becomes more hilarious with the entrance of Andrew's deal-making friend from LA, offering Andrew a fabulous new TV deal worth millions of dollars.

The Cast: Charlie Lidard (as Andrew Rally), Emily Morgan (as Deirdre McDavey), Jen Skarzinski (as Felicia Dantine), ReGina Rose (as Lillian Troy), Toby Hessenauer (as John Barrymore) and Phil Vannoorbeeck (as Gary Peter Lefkowitz). Creative team: Director: Tom Colonna, Scenic/Lighting/Sound & Technical Direction: Marc W. Smith, and Stage Manager Kevin Ecker.
