Di Pasqua's CD Features New Songs and Cabaret Stars

The album, which was inspired by an award-winning benefit concert that raised money for BroadwayCares/ EquityFightsAIDS in 2000, features 11 of Di Pasqua's original songs.
Stephen Schwartz, Heather MacRae, Phillip Officer, KT Sullivan, David Gurland, Lina Koutrakos, Bob Bucci, C. Mingo Long, Capathia Jenkins and Dee Dee Lynn Magno, Scott Coulter and Tom Andersen were all on hand to record songs for the CD, among them What Do I Know," "Every Beautiful Man in The World", " I Would Be So Pleased", "The Best That I Can Do", and "I Want To Go Home". In addition, Maybe You Didn't Hear Me" and "Since Love's Come Around" from Di Pasqua's acclaimed solo debut recording Monster Under These Conditions and from his original musical SYnCHRONOCITY are included in the disc.
Di Pasqua's "frank, unapologetic and often times challenging way of looking at the world has often been compared to such artists as Joni Mitchell, Sting, Billy Joel, Alannis Morrisette and Stephen Sondheim," describes a press release. "Tim blurs the lines separating every style and genre of music from Pop to Country, Rhythm and Blues to Broadway, and Jazz to Cabaret."
He is the recipient of two Backstage Bistro Awards: one for Outstanding Singer/Instrumentalist, and the other for Outstanding Cabaret Event, for The Purpose of Love Benefit Concert. Di Pasqua has also received nine nominations from The Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs for Singer/instrumentalist, Song of the Year and Recording of the Year.
