After 5 1/2 years of constant running, Gnu Vox, is tired and ready to sleep...forever.
This acclaimed vocal series has presented some of the best talent in the world from traditional jazz, avant garde, songwriters, bluegrass, indie rock, cabaret and beyond.

In its final evening, the eclectic range of the series will be reflected in performances by curator, David Devoe and some of his closest vocal friends. Interspersed between songs will be monologues written by the formidable Jack Ferver and read by the vocalists. The text will not be seen by the readers beforehand! Please come experience their and your surprise and celebrate the swan song(s)!

"Where are all the young jazz singers? It's an oft-heard lament in traditionalist circles, among whom Norah and Diana just don't cut it. Singer and curator David Devoe has planted his flag firmly with his upstart "Gnu Vox" series, as if to say, 'I got your jazz singin'-right here.'" Time Out New York
