The Off-Broadway cast recording of last summer's hit Thrill Me: The Leopold and Loeb Story, which played the York Theatre Company, is now available online (and will remain on sale at a special price). Released on the Original Cast Records Label, it will be available on other online and retail outlets on April 4th.
Thrill Me features book, music and lyrics by Stephen Dolginoff. "One of the first productions of the 2005-2006 season, Thrill Me, the chilling tale of the two legendary 'thrill-killers,' began performances at the York Theatre Company on May 16, 2005 for a limited run, and was extended three times due to popular demand, closing on August 21st, 2005," state press notes.Jim Kierstead, producer of the original production and the new CD said he is "thrilled to be able to present the entire score along with key sections of dialogue for the first time. After several productions around the world, this recording captures the definitive version of the show." Thrill Me features musical direction and accompaniment by Eugene Gwozdz, and stars Doug Kreeger as Richard Loeb and Dolginoff as Nathan Leopold; the two played the roles for the majority of the York run.Videos
