Cast Announced For Industry Reading Of WHERE ANGELS FEAR TO TREAD

THML Theatre Company will kick off its second season with a reading of the new musical, Where Angels Fear to Tread, with book, music and lyrics by Kit Goldstein Grant. Directed by Rachel Klein (Off B'Way: Red Roses, Green Gold; Around the World in 80 Days) and co-produced by David Treatman (B'Way: Angels In America Off B'Way: Puffs; Be More Chill).

THML first presented a workshop of Where Angels Fear to Tread at The Players Theatre in 2017. This new iteration will have two invited industry presentations on Monday, October 1st at Ripley Grier Studios. This sweeping melodrama collides with sardonic wit when two sensible Victorians, Philip and Caroline, travel to sunbaked Tuscany to impose "proper" ideals upon the free-spirited expat Lilia, who has fallen in love with a charming young Italian. Adapted from the sexy, sophisticated E. M. Forster novel, it is a tale of eroding repression and startling self-discovery.

Featuring performances by Gina Naomi Baez (Fatty Fatty No Friends; Women On Fire), Joanna Carpenter (Sunfish at Daegu in South Korea), Rachel Eddy, Brandon Haagenson (Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Nat'l Tour; Off B'Way: Afterglow), Nick Walker Jones (Nice Work If You Can Get It, Nat'l Tour), Bennett Leeds, Jillian Louis (B'Way: It Shoulda Been You), Sophia Massa (The Sound of Music, Nat'l Tour), Robert Lee Poole III (Hairspray at JWT), and Debra Walton (B'Way: The Pajama Game; Street Corner Symphony).
