By: BWW News Desk
Lane Bradbury, who created the role of 'Dainty June' in the original Broadway production of GYPSY starring Ethel Merman, stars in a workshop performance of her one-woman show, Lane Bradbury: LET ME ENTERTAIN YOU, AGAIN! on Sunday, September 15 at Abingdon Theatre Company's June Havoc Theatre (312 West 36th Street), presented as part of Abingdon's Sunday Series. Elkin Antoniou directs.
Lane Bradbury: LET ME ENTERTAIN YOU, AGAIN! is a highly personal tour of Ms. Bradbury's journey from Atlanta Debutante to Broadway performer during the Golden Age of Broadway. Songs include "Gee, But It's Good to Be Here," "Corner of the Sky," and "Another Hundred People," among others, as well as four songs from GYPSY: "Broadway," "Everything's Coming Up Roses," "If Momma Was Married," and, of course, "Let Me Entertain You." The show is written by Doug DeVita and Elkin Antoniou, with additional material by Bradbury, musical direction by Jan Roper, and is directed by Ms. Antoniou.
