Bay Street Theatre is pleased to announce two KidStreet events in November. The film entitled THE VELVETEEN RABBIT will be shown on the big screen on Sunday, November 14 at 1 pm. The film is based on the beloved children's book. The first 100 kids will each receive a free children's book. Kids also have the opportunity to write a review and enter to win a $10,000 scholarship from Stepping Stone Entertainment. More information about the scholarship opportunity is available at www.kidsfirst.org. THE VELVETEEN RABBIT screening is part of KIDS FIRST!, a program of the Coalition for Quality Children's Media.

Tickets are $5 for kids and $10 for adults.

On Thanksgiving Weekend, ArtsPower's AMBER BROWN IS NOT A CRAYON, will be presented live on Friday, November 26 at 1 pm and 3 pm. This musical is geared for grades 1-4. The story revolves around Amber Brown, who is having what may be the worst day of her life. Her best friend is moving away. The story is told in a uniquely funny and forthright style as Amber learns some valuable lessons about the virtues of patience and the meaning of friendship.
Tickets are $12 for kids and $15 for adults.

Tickets for both events are available by calling the box office at 631-725-9500 or by logging on to www.baystreet.org.
