BY THE NUMBERS: An Evening with Charissa Bertels and Ed Bell Comes to Brasserie Zedel

Broadway actress Charissa Bertels and British-born theatre writer Ed Bell will present BY THE NUMBERS, an evening of songs and stories from both sides of the Atlantic, on March 3 at Brasserie Zedél in London.

Charissa was seen on Broadway in A Christmas Story and in Encores' Lady Be Good and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. She recently toured the US in the national tour of If/Then, starring Idina Menzel. Ed is a theatre composer-lyricist who has worked on projects in New York, London, Los Angeles and Shanghai. With Christian Duhamel, recent winner of the Kleban Award for most promising musical theatre librettist, they created the original one-woman musical, My 80-Year-Old Boyfriend, which premiered at Merrimack Repertory Theatre in 2017. "Keep your eye out for the next show Bertels appears in. She's got talent," proclaimed the Boston Globe.

In this one-off concert at Crazy Coqs, they'll share a handful of numbers from My 80-Year-Old Boyfriend, as well as songs from the Broadway repertoire. Tickets are available online at www.liveatzedel.com.
