BLACKS ON B'WAY AND BEYOND Honored At Black History Month Conference, 2/28

In honor their Black History Month Highlights, The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce, The Harlem Arts Alliance and The Broadway League will recognize a select group of actors, playwrights, producers for their outstanding contributions in the theatre on and off-stage. The event will take place on February 28th at the Gran Piatto d'Oro (1429 5th Avenue@ 116th & 117th Street).

Patricia Cruz (Producer of Harlem Stage and Aaron Davis Hall)
Howard Dodson (Schomberg Center for Black Research Emeritus)
August Wilson (playwright-posthumously)
The Shubert Organization (for their commitment to presenting works by African-Americans playwrights, directors and actors).The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce also presents HARLEM WEEK, HARLEM JAZZ AND MUSIC FESTIVAL, HARLEM IN VOGUE, and NATIONAL BLACKS SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT HALL OF FAME.
