Arianna Williams & Ryan Jaske to Star in WEDDING PARTY World Premiere at Hollywood Fringe

Arianna Williams and Ryan Jaske will star in the World Premiere of "Wedding Party (Or, Why You Should Not Invite Former Friends To Your Wedding)" opening at the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Williams stars as Ximena who is getting married to the perfect man in her dream wedding in a freaking castle in the South of France. Everything is exactly what she's dreamed of since she was a little girl and yet... not everything is perfect because four key people in Ximena's life are missing: Sandy, her Best Friend from high school, Citlali, her former roommate, Mariana and Gabriela, her girl squad from her 20's. Ximena wishes they could all be part of her bridal party so she embarks on a journey to try to rekindle those relationships and heal the wounds that drove them apart.

The charming and bittersweet dramedy hails from writer/director Adriana Martínez Barrón, a former Netflix and CBS development executive who came up working with comedy pros Eva Longoria, Eugenio Derbez and Sofia Vergara.

The hilarious and heartbreaking 90-minutes dramedy tackles female friendship break ups, which - as any woman can attest - are more painful and harder to get over than romantic breakups.

Through Martínez Barrón's signature quippy dialogue and funny, unexpected twists and true emotion, the play dives deep into platonic love, romantic love and the greatest love of all, self-love.

Arianna Williams is an Afro-Latina actor based in Los Angeles and a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She began her career performing Off-Broadway, where she notably originated the role of Robin in Eco-Village at the St. Clements Theatre. Williams has since expanded her work into film and television, including a Series Regular role in the Amazon Studios pilot Once Upon a Time in Aztlan. She is repped by Anonymous Content.

Ryan Jaske stars as Ximena's fiancé Jason. Jaske is an American film and stage actor from Littleton, Colorado. After early beginnings creating and starring in home movies, he rediscovered acting in high school and went on to train at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. Since graduating in 2023, he has appeared in films such as "For Matilda" and "Halloween Aftermath", as well as the TV series "E4 Mafia".

Rounding up the cast are Daniela Azuaje (AMC's "Mayans MC") as "Sandy"; Jocelyn Marie (Amazon's Jason Katims series "As We See It") as "Citali", Rocio Ibarra ("Call of Duty: Black Ops 6") as "Mariana"; and newcomer Carlie Meyers as "Gabriela".

Martínez Barrón's 2025 Hollywood Fringe Festival play "I Hope You're Having Fun in Hell Dad" won second place of the 2025 Loud Karma Emerging Women and Nonbinary Playwright's Award, received an Honorable Mention by the Hollywood Fringe Scholarship Committee, and was well received by critics and audiences alike, selling out its Hollywood Fringe run.
