Alec Baldwin Joins Nyack's Riverspace 'Conversation Series' on 9/26

The fall season at Riverspace will open with Emmy and Academy Award-nominated and Golden Globe Award-winning actor Alec Baldwin on Friday, September 26 at 8:00 p.m. as part of the Conversation Series. Baldwin joins the growing list of performers donating their time and talent to support Riverspace.
 
Entertainment and politics are just some of the topics that will be discussed when Baldwin is interviewed by Riverspace Co-artistic director Elliott Forrest. The evening will also include film clips from Baldwin's extensive film career and his new book, A Promise to Ourselves: A Journey Through Fatherhood and Divorce will be sold during the event.
 
Actors, playwrights and comedians such as Lewis Black, Edward Albee, Bill Irwin and Kathleen Turner have visited Riverspace as part of the Conversation Series, an intimate setting reminiscent of the Actor's Studio.
 
Currently starring in the hit comedy series "30 ROCK, " Baldwin is a prolific actor who ha s appeared in numerous movies such as Glengarry Glen Ross, Running with Scissors and The Departed and has made multiple appearances as host of Saturday Night Live.

As an out-spoken supporter of various causes related to public policy, including environmentalism, the government's support of the arts, campaign finance reform, animal rights and gun control, Baldwin's visit will be an entertaining and stimulating night that kicks off a smashing upcoming Fall Season at Riverspace.
