Agora Gallery will kick off the new season with four new exhibitions starting on November 23, 2010 and continuing until December 14, 2010, with an opening reception on December 2, 2010. Gallery II will showcase the newest and most personal sculptures of the famous Lego® brick artist Nathan Sawaya. While Gallery I introduces an innovative exhibition series in three parts which will explore diverse themes and styles and feature a range of talented, thought-provoking artists from around the world. As always, entrance is free and all art-lovers are warmly encouraged to attend

About the Exhibitions:
Portals of Perception displays the work of artists whose work is a testament to the transformative power of the personal and artistic viewpoint, as they use their considerable skill to create new and lyrical creations. Dealing with a diverse range of subjects and moods, the artists in Rhetorical Realms use the techniques that best suit their individual styles to express fundamental aspects of our world and to present them to their audience for their development and delight. Passion and positivity shine out of the works that make up the Apex of Transcendence. Contributing a delicate spirituality to our perceptions, these artists nonetheless manage to stay connected to the world in which we live. In RED: The LEGO® Brick Sculpture of Nathan Sawaya, New York sculptor Nathan Sawaya has become renowned in the modern art world for his groundbreaking fusion of pop art and surrealism in pieces comprised solely of LEGO® bricks. His most recent work represents a new phase of artistic expression within this medium, as he explores themes of identity. All his new sculpture is in one way or another autobiographical, addressing the issue of self through symbolism to express his surrealistic ideology.
