The Actors' Fund of America will host special benefit performances of One-Man Star Wars Trilogy and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee on Monday, October 17th and Sunday, October 23rd, respectively.

The Special Performance of One-Man Star Wars Trilogy, starring Charles Ross at the Lamb's Theatre (130 West 44th Street) will begin at 8 PM. Tickets are available at $39. In the hour-long show, Ross "plays all the characters, recreates the effects, sings the music, flies the ships, and fights both sides of the battles (of Star Wars)," according to press notes.

The Special Performance of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, which features a score by William Finn, a Tony Award-winning book by Rachel Sheinkin and direction by James Lapine, will begin at 7:30 PM; tickets are $95. The show, which stars Tony Award-winner Dan Folger, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and others, is a musical in which six precocious youngsters (as well as audience members) battle it out to become the #1 spelling champion of the title county.

For Actors' Fund Special Performances, "Broadway companies generously donate their time and talent by adding these special shows to their already rigorous schedules, and perform for audiences full of their peers from the entertainment community," state press notes. Proceeds from all Special Performances benefit The Actors' Fund of America.
