ATW Launches Revamped Version of WORKING IN THE THEATRE

The American Theatre Wing (Theodore S. Chapin, Chairman, Board of Trustees; Heather Hitchens, Executive Director) launched a revamped version of its legendary and long running television show, "Working in the Theatre," reflecting exciting changes to its look, feel, and format.
"Working in the Theatre" has kicked off the season with an all new show featuring the unsung heroes behind the curtain, hosted by Disney Theatrical Group Producer and President Thomas Schumacher. This program examines the unique roles of a Puppet Master, Make Up Supervisor, Wig Designer, Musician and Dresser. Future plans for "Working in the Theatre" include shows looking at the very active regional theatre scene across the country featuring winners of the Wing's National Theatre Grants and a "Playwrights" show, hosted by David Henry Hwang, which will showcase established writers in conversation with some of America's hottest up-and-coming newcomers.
