Witnessing the powerful performances of the touring cast not only hit all of those points straight to the heart, but also push the energy and fun of the music over the top makes this show something special. Memphis' music (David Bryan) is as much a character as Huey (Joey Elrose) and Felica (Jasmin Richardson).

The Moody Blues concert at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton originally scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 7:30 p.m. has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets purchased for the original date will be honored at the door. Those who wish to be refunded should return their tickets at the point of purchase - the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center ticket office at (920) 730-3760, tickets@foxcitiespac.com or Ticketmaster at (800) 982-2787 (whichever applies) by Friday, Nov. 1. Ticket buyers who have misplaced their tickets should contact the ticket office. Any refunded tickets will be available for purchase on Monday, Nov. 4.

While a delightful comedy, Miracle on South Division Street builds itself on a realistic family drama. Set in Buffalo, NY, a family has grown up around a statue of the Virgin Mary commemorating their own miracle. Through out the play the Nowaks reveal the legend of their miracle and it has unforeseen effects on the family, particularly mother Clara (Peggy Roeder) and daughter Ruth (Ellen Noel Grennan).

The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center will again team up with the Appleton Area School District to offer Wisconsin educators the opportunity to take part in professional development workshops centered around the arts. In 2012, the Center and AASD were selected to participate in the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Partners in Education program and are one of approximately 100 partnership teams across the country promoting arts integration through the professional learning process. This is the second year of the partnership and the Classroom Connections program. Three educator workshops will be included in this year's activities.

William Gillette was the first playwright/actor to write a play and then star as Sherlock Holmes on stage.
