WICKED Cast Set to Host Valentine's Jazz Cabaret at the Fox Cities P.A.C. 2/14

By: Jan. 17, 2011

On Monday, February 14, the National Touring Company of WICKED will host "Our WICKED Romance," a jazz cabaret. Held in the Kimberly-Clark Theater at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, the event will feature cast and crew members of the company. The net proceeds of this event will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center's mission-based programs.

The evening is an opportunity for members of the cast to step out of their roles in the hit musical WICKED. The cabaret is produced by and features members of the cast of the touring production in music, dance, and comedy. In addition, there will be a silent auction of items including WICKED memorabilia, premium packages from the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, and a live auction of several opportunities to join the company backstage, including a chance to bid on a walk-on role in WICKED. The musical will be playing to enthusiastic audiences at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center January 26 through February 20.

Tickets for "Our WICKED Romance" will go on sale Friday, January 21 at 10:00 a.m. through the Fox Cities P.A.C. Ticket Office, by phone at 920-730-3760. Tickets start at $45.00. For more information on the event visit foxcitiespac.com or wickedthemusical.com. There is an eight ticket limit, and space is limited.

"Our WICKED Romance" is part of an ongoing series of performances by the touring company throughout the country to support charitable causes which advance WICKED's theme of acceptance and illuminate the musical's message that people should not be judged on first impressions. The company believes that in these divisive times, people must come together to support those in need throughout the country and around the world. In its five years on the road, the company has raised well over $1 million in donations to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and local AIDS Services organizations all over the country, as well as other educational, charitable and humanitarian causes.
