The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center is pleased to announce that Robert C. Di Renzo, Sheri H. Edison, James W. Johnson, Mark Loper and Brian Pertl will join the nonprofit organization's board of directors.
"As chairman, I am excited to work with our newest members to advance the Center's mission as we plan strategically for the Center's future," said Mike Weller, president of Miller Electric Manufacturing Company and chairman of the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center's board of directors. "Each new member brings a unique professional perspective that will add depth to a strong leadership team and a thriving community organization."Robert C. Di Renzo is a partner in Neenah's Di Renzo and Bomier Law Firm, specializing in the areas of business and commercial law, estate planning, probate and estate litigation and taxation law. His bar admissions include Wisconsin, U.S. Federal Court and U.S. District Court Western District of Wisconsin. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Winnebago County Bar Association. He is also a partner in Di Renzo, Benson and Hillebrandt, a certified public accounting firm. Di Renzo and his wife, Cheri, have been longtime supporters of the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.
Sheri H. Edison is the president, general counsel and secretary for Bemis Company, Inc., headquartered in Neenah. Edison most recently served as senior vice president and chief administrative officer with Hill-Rom, Inc., a global medical device manufacturer and distributor. She began her career working in private practice and spent several years as a mergers & acquisitions and securities attorney at Jones Day. Edison graduated with a B.A. from the University of Southern California and received her law degree from Northwestern School of Law.James W. Johnson serves as an executive vice president of Oshkosh Corporation and president of its fire and emergency segment. Johnson is also president of Pierce Manufacturing, headquartered in Appleton. His responsibilities include overall operations of the fire and emergency segment including the Pierce, Oshkosh Airport Products, Medtec, Oshkosh Specialty Vehicles, Frontline and SMIT brands. Prior to his current role, Johnson was the senior vice president of sales and marketing for Pierce, following over ten years of experience in sales and marketing in the recreational vehicle industry. He is also an attorney and spent several years practicing law with a focus on commercial litigation in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Mark Loper is the president/CEO of AZCO INC., a Menasha-based, heavy industrial contractor. Loper has been with the company since 1986 starting as its general counsel after graduating from Marquette University's Business School and the University of Wisconsin Law School. He is also president of the board of the Mechanical Contractors Association of North Central Wisconsin and serves on the State of Wisconsin Mechanical Contractors Association Board of Directors.Brian Pertl is the dean of the Conservatory at Lawrence University. By training, Pertl is an ethnomusicologist who received his undergraduate training at Lawrence University and earned his M.A. from Wesleyan. Most recently, Pertl managed the Media Acquisitions Group for Microsoft, pioneering the use of music and sound in multi-media reference titles. For ten years, he managed the selecting, tracking and licensing of all forms of audio, images and video. Pertl also performs widely on trombone, voice and didjeridu, a traditional Australian Aboriginal wind instrument.
The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center's board of directors oversees the nonprofit organization. The mission of the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center is to serve as a gathering place for the community to engage in educational opportunities and enhance understanding and enjoyment of life through the creation and presentation of the arts. The Center does this by providing a premier venue for performing arts attractions and a dynamic environment for arts organizations.
