FOURPLAY: Four Short Plays By Alaskans Set for Tuesday - & More Anchorage Community Theatre News

Anchorage Community Theatre are working with Three Wise Moose Theatre to present one final Anchorage performance at ACT of Fourplay: Four Short Plays by Alaskans at 7 PM on this Thursday June 7 before presenting the plays at the Last Frontier Theatre Conference in Valdez on June 10. (These are the plays first presented at ACT last fall.) Get your tickets online or call 868-4913. This one is recommended for mature audiences.

Storytellers Performance and Workshop

Will Hornyak, who teaches storytelling at Marylhurst University in Portland, Oregon and performs throughout the Northwest will present Walking Finn Mac Cool: Tales of Ireland's Greatest Poet Warrior at ACT on Friday June 15 evening at 7 PM. He will hold a storytellers workshop the next day on Saturday June 16 from noon to 3 PM. The show is $12 and the workshop $20!

Hamlet II (Better Than the Original).

We are working with Midnight Sun Theatre again this summer to present Hamlet II (Better Than the Original), directed by Dave Block, from July 6 - 29 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 and Sunday afternoons at 3. It is a mad and zany parody of Shakespeare's tragedy with a much happier ending. Sort of Shakespeare on Saturday Night Live. Call 868-4913 or buy tickets online. PG13.
