The Popular Concerts@Kent Town Return With 2018 Opening Concert

Once again the friendly community Concerts@Kent Town series welcomes music lovers to the historic Wesley Church Kent Town, Cnr Fullarton Rd and Grenfell Street, Kent Town and continues its tradition of presenting a series of outstanding concerts.
The first concert of the season takes place 2pm Wednesday 18 July. There will be five monthly concerts this year from July to November. Tickets are only $15 which includes a generous afternoon tea. We hope to see you at all of them. On the bill for this first concert is Honours student from the Elder Conservatorium, classical saxophonist Jaime Grech accompanied by Damien Mansfield, and organist Andrew Ampt.Jaime Grech, 21, is an emerging classical saxophonist from Adelaide. She has performed extensively throughout South Australia with various ensembles including the Band of the South Australia Police, Elder Conservatorium Wind Orchestra, Adelaide Wind Orchestra, Elder Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra and multiple chamber music ensembles.
Jaime will perform music by Pierre Max Dubois, Eugene Bozza and Victor Morosco
Accompanist Damien Mansfield has participated in recitals in Australia, USA, England, Netherlands and Canada. Since resuming active musical work in 2013, after 40 years of medical practice, he has been consistently active working with vocal and instrumental student at the Elder Conservatorium.
