To commemorate the 264th anniversary of Bach's death The Corinthian Singers, under the directorship of Nicola Hardie-Campbell, will take the audience on a journey of discovery, via the "Ancient and Modern" music of J.S. Bach. The program will include pieces harmonised or inspired by J S Bach - including some of his exquisite small pieces, the hidden jewels amongst his better known works, well known and loved settings, plus arrangements with a modern twist. Works sung by the choir will include Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring and Chorales from the St John Passion as well as arrangements for choir of Air on a G string and the Fugue 9 from the second book of the Well-tempered Clavier.Videos
