Hills Musical Company Presents AVENUE Q

Winner of 3 Tony Awards including Best New Musical, and featured on award-winning HBO series Big Little Lies, Avenue Q is the outrageously funny adult answer to Sesame Street. Complete with puppet sex, profanity, and characters fighting it out to prove whose life sucks most, nothing is off-limits in this show that will have you laughing at the things you're not supposed to!

In an era where we could all use some comic relief; Avenue Q is a gut-bustlingly funny modern musical that follows a group of 20-somethings seeking their purpose in big-city life. Set in a place where puppets are friends, monsters are good and life lessons are learned, it's part flesh, part felt, and packed with heart. While this puppet-filled world is reflective of the difficult, R-rated realities that we face when we learn that real life isn't as simple as we dreamed it might be, Avenue Q suggests that life is more colourful and worthwhile for it.

Featuring NSFW-certified tunes like 'Everyone's a Little Bit Racist', 'I'm Not Wearing Underwear Today' and 'The Internet is for P*rn', audiences will leave whistling tunes that they'll need to remember not to sing in the work staff-room!

Led by the dynamic team of Gordon Combes (director), Paul Sinkinson (musical director) and Sarah Williams (choreographer), along with a stellar cast of Adelaide comedic talent, the Hills Musical Company once again presents a musical that pushes the boundaries.
