Catherine Truman Named SALA Festival Featured Artist for 2016
Renowned South Australian artist Catherine Truman has been named SALA Festival Featured Artist for 2016 at the festival's official opening night gala, held last night at the Art Gallery of South Australia. The multi award-winning artist behind Adelaide's iconic "fish gates" and the David Jones' leaves sculpture will be commemorated in the 2016 SALA monograph and program cover. The SALA Festival runs until August 1 in 610 exhibitions across South Australia.
