The description on the flyer for Gillian English is a Bitter Shrew is Love, Sex, Farts, and that's what you get at a glance in this wildly funny and on point show from Gillian English. What the flyer doesn't tell you is that you will be taken on a journey of the intensely personal to the general that resonates with every woman, ending with a performance that wouldn't be out of place in any Shakespearean drama.

English's intense energy and breathtakingly fast delivery catches the mood of today's life, shows the rage, and range of contemporary womanhood, and throws in some basic anatomy for the male viewers.

Anyone who can ride life's embarrassing moments and turn them into a lifelong empowerment has my vote as someone to listen to.

She teaches us a way to adult in today's world. For every woman who has been called a bitter shrew, go see this show, and take heart.
