The Sons of Serendip (SoS) have made headlines for their unique ability to blend R&B, gospel and soul with classical expertise to create a uniquely sumptuous and emotionally stirring sound. On December 21 at 7:30, the quartet will play Town Hall Theater, bringing this sound to orchestral and acoustic interpretations of modern and traditional holiday classics, arranged with vocals, cello, harp and piano.

The Sons of Serendip (SoS) are a musical ensemble of four friends, who through a series of serendipitous events, came together in graduate school at Boston University and auditioned for America's Got Talent. SoS quickly became an audience favorite, winning fourth place in the 2014 competition. The members are Micah Christian, a teacher from Randolph, MA and the lead singer for the group; pianist/vocalist Cordaro Rodriguez, an attorney from Charlotte, NC; Kendall Ramseur, a cellist and cello instructor from Charlotte, NC and harpist Mason Morton, a teacher from Atlanta. All have been playing their instruments since childhood.

The evening will include Sons of Serendip's hit arrangement of "O Holy Night" and a much-anticipated original composition "Miss You Most", a heartfelt ballad of long distance love during the Christmas season. Other holiday favorites are all tied together by the group's rousing, signature sing-along sound that has made Sons of Serendip an ensemble poised to stand the test of time. "Poignant and remarkably lush sound" Baltimore Times

"Sons of Serendip showcases the reason these four musicians grabbed America's attention in competition on America's Got Talent and gives good reason for us to continue to follow their careers." Black Grooves

In 2014-2015, Sons of Serendip took their notoriety to the next level in a thrilling year that included the release of their "riveting" (Black Grooves) debut studio recording, a self-titled compilation of the group's most memorable performances from AGT, which took top Billboard charting spots in 12 categories including Top Current Album, Heatseaker, Internet Album and Independent Album. They memorably performed twice with the Boston Pops as special guest artists, and also appeared alongside John Legend and Jay Leno at private VIP events.

Sons of Serendip will perform on December 21 at 7:30 at Town Hall Theater. Tickets are $40. For further details and to buy tickets, visit www.townhalltheater.org Tickets are also available at the THT Box Office: 802-382-9222, or in person Monday - Saturday noon - 5 pm.
