An actor walks on stage and is handed a script in a sealed envelope. The actor (MacArthur Stine) has never seen the script. He opens the envelope, begins to read, and the play begins. No one in the room knows what it will be about, what the actor will be asked to do, or how it will end. He just has to finish reading the play. No matter what.

"This show, unlike any other really unites the actor with the audience. Both are experiencing the play for the first time, both are going on a journey together and both are complicit in making an evening of theater," says producer Haley Rice. "The actor for this show has to be incredibly brave and quick on their feet. Most actors have weeks, sometimes months of preparation before they perform. MacArthur hasn't even read the script! Fortunately, he trained at Second City and has amazing improvisation skills, so he's perfect for this piece."

White Rabbit, Red Rabbit has been called a play. But it's a lively, global sensation that no-one is allowed to talk about. Slyly humorous and audaciously pointed, this 'theater entertainment meets social experiment' is unlike anything, and will make you question everything.

Forbidden to leave his country, playwright Nassim Soleimanpour distilled the experience of an entire generation in a wild, utterly original play. White Rabbit, Red Rabbit is a work about contemporary Iran and of Nassim's generation. A generation born amidst the hardship of the Iran-Iraq war. A generation of computer-literate, well-informed young people who have never known an Iran other than the Islamic Republic. His words have escaped censorship and are awaiting our audience.

White Rabbit, Red Rabbit has been performed over one thousand times worldwide. Past performers include Nathan Lane, Whoopi Goldberg, George Takei, Alan Cumming, Cynthia Nixon, Wayne Brady, Martin Short, Kyra Sedgewick and more. It has been translated into more than 20 languages. Presented in association with Aurora Nova Productions and Boat Rocker Entertainment.
